As any non-player can attest (raises hand), the game of bridge can be mystifying. Many different ways of teaching bridge have been devised over time, from hand-held devices to table covers. Now, Dar Webb and the St. Petersburg Bridge Club have come up with a new device to make bridge easier to learn, and it’s been getting very positive attention.

The idea is a deck of flash cards that are held together with a ring in the upper-left corner. The subject of the card is right at the top, so if you splay open the deck, you can see the topic of interest and go right to the appropriate card. There is one deck for Basic Bridge and another for Intermediate Bridge.

Pretty nifty, and a review by Paul Linxwiler of the American Contract Bridge League has given the decks a B+ rating, saying they are, “an easy-to-use, no-frills guide to bidding and playing."

Bayprint was pleased to print the decks, punch the holes, and provide the rings for the St. Petersburg Bridge Club.
