Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Leadership Awards Breakfast

The 31st Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Leadership Awards Breakfast was held at the Coliseum in downtown St. Pete on January 16th, and Bayprint was proud to play a small part in the event.

The breakfast is produced each year by the St. Petersburg Metropolitan Section of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW), which honors community leaders whose works over the previous year demonstrate their outstanding commitment to serve humanity.

Roslyn Brock, chairperson of the National Board of Directors for the NAACP, was the keynote speaker.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Humanitarian Award: Pastors Jay and Kara’lynne Brubaker of Positive Impact Church

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Faith Based Recognition Award: Rev. Louis Murphy, Sr. and Mt. Zion Progressive Missionary Baptist Church

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Youth Educational Incentive Award: Jada Guzman, Eriana Redix and Aldric P. Griffin II

Brittany Bria Gordon Excellence in Achievement Award: Aaliyah Buchanan
